SilFos Tech (Silfoscoper)
SILFOS TECH (Silfoscoper) Ternary alloy with a base of Copper, Phosphorus and Silver, presents a characteristic of greater performance in brazing with a better finish and mechanical resistance and hardness.
SILFOS TECH is recommended in places where the base metal is subject to vibrations, thus avoiding any type of damage (cracks/fissures) during brazing.
SILFOS TECH has greater electrical conductivity due to the Silver in its composition.

IINFORMATION: SILFOS TECH 2 is used where it is not possible to maintain very tight or narrow gaps. Recommended gaps are in the order of 0.05 to 0.13 mm.
INFORMATION: SILFOS TECH 5 is used where it is not possible to maintain very tight or narrow gaps. Recommended gaps are in the order of 0.05 to 0.13 mm. It has similar characteristics to SILFOS TECH 2.
INFORMATION: SILFOS TECH 6 has a chemical composition very close to the eutectic point of the Cu-P phase diagram and has a relatively low melting temperature. With its excellent fluidity, it is suitable for welding joints with very small gaps. It presents the highest fluidity of the CuP alloy series. The best results are obtained with gaps of the order of 0.03 to 0.08 mm.
INFORMATION: SILFOS TECH 15 is the alloy in the series that presents the greatest resistance to dynamic efforts (vibration). Widely used for joining Electrical Contacts in switching devices such as Contactors. Recommended gaps are in the order of 0.03 to 0.08 mm.
INFORMATION: SILFOS TECH 18 was developed from SILFOS TECH 15 by increasing the silver and phosphorus content. It is the alloy in the series that has the greatest fluidity and the lowest brazing temperature.
