SILVER SOLDER Ag/Cu/Zn
Cadmium-free alloys are widely used for maintenance of hospital networks, the Food Industry and in the Dental segment where the temperature is normally lower than the base metal. Alloys without Cadmium, present characteristics of high fluidity and low working temperatures, accompanied by excellent mechanical resistance; Cadmium-free alloys are recommended because they are free from the element that is harmful to health. In the Manufacturing, Industrial or Dental segment, Cadmium is highly harmful, especially where in its final process, it prohibits contact with human beings, thus avoiding any type of contamination or damage to health.
INFORMATION: SILVER TECH BR-12 is a low-cost alloy intended for brazing common steels and non-ferrous alloys such as Copper and its alloys. It has a high brazing temperature and moderate fluidity intended for applications subject to static stress where the low ductility of the alloy does not compromise its use.
INFORMATION: BR-SILVER TECH 15 is a low-cost alloy intended for brazing common steels and non-ferrous alloys such as Copper and its alloys. It has a high brazing temperature and moderate fluidity intended for applications subject to static stress where the low ductility of the alloy does not compromise its use.
INFORMATION: BR-SILVER TECH 20 is a low-cost alloy intended for brazing common steels and non-ferrous alloys such as Copper and its alloys. It has a high brazing temperature and moderate fluidity intended for applications subject to static stress where the low ductility of the alloy does not compromise its use.
INFORMATION: BR-SILVER TECH 25 is frequently used in the brazing of steels, copper and brass, being an economical alloy in applications where lower ductility of the union is permitted.
INFORMATION: BR-SILVER TECH 30 has good wettability and fluidity characteristics and a higher brazing temperature than those of popular quaternary cadmium alloys. Due to its good brazing properties and economy, it finds several new applications.
INFORMATION: BR-SILVER TECH 30 Ni has good wettability and fluidity characteristics. Due to this good brazing characteristics it finds use in various applications.
INFORMATION: BR-SILVER TECH 35 is an alloy used in brazing ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It has a moderate brazing temperature used in various applications in the production of brazed items.
INFORMATION: BR-SILVER TECH 45 is widely used in the electrical industry and in dairy and food processing equipment. It is excellent for brazing brass components such as musical instruments.
INFORMATION: BR-SILVER TECH 245 is a cadmium-free alloy widely used in the electrical industry. It is also used in equipment for the manufacture of dairy products and foods where the use of alloys containing cadmium is prohibited. This alloy is excellent for brazing brass components.
INFORMATION: BR-SILVER TECH 50 has a wide melting range and does not have such high fluidity and is therefore used to fill larger gaps and fill large fillets. Applications similar to BR-SILVER TECH 245.
INFORMATION: BR-SILVER TECH 65 is used for brazing sterling silver (925 silver). After brazing, the color of this alloy is very similar to the base metal. Cadmium-free alloy.
INFORMATION: BR-SILVER TECH 70 similar to the BR-SILVER TECH 65 alloy is used for brazing sterling silver (925 silver). After brazing, the color of this alloy is very similar to the base metal. Cadmium-free alloy.
INFORMATION: BR-SILVER TECH 72 is the eutectic alloy of the Ag/Cu system, therefore presenting the lowest melting temperature of the Ag/Cu series. It does not present a melting band but rather a eutectic transformation point. Widely used in controlled atmosphere furnace brazing.
